The Movement to Revive Self supporting Clubs

Harambee Stars

This page is created by a group of fans who are intent on bringing the glory days back to Kenyan football. We do not have any grudges against any particular official, neither do we hold a brief for anyone. We recognize that Kenya football is bigger than any particular person. It existed before them and it will exist when they leave.

This website is a campaign by fans of these clubs coming together to bring about positive changes in their respective clubs that will lead to the revival of Kenyan football. This is a write in campaign where fans are urged to add their names to the list of fans who want positive change and write in to the website to let everyone know what kind of changes you would like to see happen.

We will seek as much publicity for this website as much as possible from the media. We plan to challenge politicians and other community leaders to come and read for themselves what the fans want, which is why we urge you to send us us and send us your thoughts. . We also urge you to spread the word amongst your friends  and have them join this movement.

We would especially like to hear from former players, coaches and officials so we can hear about their experiences while playing or working for these clubs.

Over the years, several fans have sent E-mails with a myriad of suggestions on how to rescue these clubs. Some of these have been included under the short term and long term goals. Any letters sent by fans will be added to the letters section.

In order to reform self supporting clubs, Kenyans will have to sustain pressure on the current officials to either reform or step aside for officials who are capable of creating much needed reforms. This pressure will have to come from fans, from the media, from leaders and from players and former players.

This site offers a further platform to fans where they can air their suggestions, recall their experiences and keep the campaign to reform community clubs going.

Let us help bring fans of every shade back into local stadia. Let us all stand up for Kenya.
